Is in-home personal training right for you? My thoughts…
I’m often asked by friends or family why I specialize in-home personal training. There certainly was a time when I didn’t, but over the past five or so years, I noticed a difference between the group of clients I worked with that trained at home and those that trained with me at a gym.
This difference between the two groups made me realize the benefits of in-home training and I changed my approach to cater to those in-home clients exclusively.
I realized that with in-home clients, they got more time with me, they weren’t late because of traffic and were always just ready to go. This allowed this group of clients to get better results from our training. These clients also saved money since they did not need a gym membership and were more likely to continue with their training. Maybe some of these benefits will resonate with you.
My Top 5 benefits to working with a personal trainer at home:
Benefit 1: Save Time
We you go to the gym it takes time to travel to the gym and change. This extra time could be used on other important things. When you hire an in home trainer you can skip packing the gym clothing, travel and searching for a parking spot. When you are short on time it might be a good idea to skip the gym and have a pro come to your home.
Benefit 2: No Equipment Needed
When you hire someone to come to your home you won’t need to buy any equipment. A fitness pro will design a program that will address all of your needs with everything you have in your home. We also bring our own equipment.
Benefit 3: Comfort and Privacy
Sometimes it can be intimidating to workout in a pubic gym. Sometimes it feels like other people in the gym are looking at you. In home personal training get you a great workout in the privacy of your own home. Using your own bathroom beats a public locker room any day of the week.
Benefit 4: Accountability
When you hire an In home trainer you will have no excuses the workout comes right to your door. This will keep you on track and start healthy in home habits. Many busy people have a coach for many different reasons and having a fitness coach can help get you on track.
Benefit 5: Personal Attention
Having your own fitness coach without distractions can really help with your goals. When you have a personal trainer you will have a program built for you and your needs. We design custom programs to fit your needs.
So, although in-home training isn’t for everyone, I do think it’s great for most and my bottomlime is the time you’ll save by working out at home. Let me know your thougths and if this article was helpful, please share it with a friend or love one, thank you!
