Jenna specializes in teaching Sculpt & Power Yoga workouts for individuals in one-on-one classes as well as in group training sessions. These styles of yoga draw from the traditions of Ashtanga yoga and Vinyasa Flow yoga – practices that incorporate sequences of asanas (yoga postures), and focus on linking one breath to each movement. These types of yoga practices are designed for weight loss, improvement in cardiovascular health, stress relief & overall fitness for mind, body and spirit.
Jenna brings elements of her training into her sessions including gentle, restorative practices such as Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Iyengar yoga, as well as subsections of each style including: Pranayama (breath control practice), Mindful Meditation, and Yoga Nidra. As an instructor, she continues to study various yoga philosophy and psychology and utilizes her experience as a practitioner to develop wide-ranging practices to best meet the needs and goals of her clients. She emphasizes the importance of proper form and safety throughout all her sessions. Where needed, Jenna also incorporates gentle, restorative yoga practices to aid in injury prevention and/or recovery.
Jenna is experienced instructing students/practitioners at every point in their yoga journey– from beginner to expert level yogis. She brings a unique perspective to yoga fitness/training, and recognizes that incorporating a formal yoga practice into daily routines provides countless physical, mental & spiritual benefits.
