With our busy lives, it is hard to make it to the gym and working out at home seems like a chore. When many of us try to go to the gym we run into a busy workout floor. Without any equipment available it becomes hard to get in a good workout. Sometimes the equipment is covered in sweat when it is available.
When many of my personal training clients try working out on their own they always seem to have something come up. this gets in the way of their workout. I give them homework but they can’t seem to get it done. After sometime we build habits that allow them to work out from home without any issues.
Here are some reasons why having a in home personal trainer can save you time during your workout program.
You make an appointment
Making an appointment is a great way to set aside time for a focused workout. You know that someone is coming at that time and leaving after the appointment. Having a in home personal trainer come to your home can help keep you on task rather than avoiding your workout. Many of my personal training clients find having a set time for training is the one thing that keeps them on task. This helps my clients stay on track to hit their fitness goals.
Many in home personal trainers will have a policy that requires 24-48-hour notice before you cancel. This will help you stick to your goals and keep your appointments.
You don’t have to commute
Commuting to the gym can eat up a lot of time out of your day. Many of my clients complained that they would spend 10-25 minutes in the car on the way to the gym. This is one of the biggest reasons they started a in home personal training program. After a long day of work the last thing we want to do is sit in the car to go to the gym. Having a in home personal trainer allows you to skip the gym because we bring all the equipment you’ll need to your home for your personal training session. Saving commute time will open time for other activities during the day.
When you exercise on your own sometimes you will become distracted and this can waste time. Leaving you with a short lame workout that doesn’t do much to get you to your fitness goals. When you’re working with a personal trainer in your home the trainer will keep you on task. Staying on task will make sure that your workout is efficient and effective. This will shorten the time you need to work out because your rest times will be planned and your personal trainer will make sure to get everything you need in a shorter amount of time.
You don’t have to wait for equipment
One of my favorite things about having a in home personal trainer is that you don’t have to wait to use equipment. When my clients go to the gym during prime time they can’t find space to work out and all the equipment is taken. When you have a at home personal trainer your trainer will build a program to work all the muscles you intended in to hit in the gym. This will create a fun workout that keeps your body guessing. Skipping the line at the gym and working out at home can keep you on task and save you time.
